Design and Build

The laptop uses a lightweight metal chassis and keeps the familiar ZenBook styling with a textured lid pattern. The Pine Grey finish is practical for daily use, and the MIL-STD-810H compliance is presented as a durability advantage. The ErgoLift hinge helps airflow but limits maximum opening angle to about 155 degrees.

Display, Audio, and Webcam

This model uses a Samsung OLED panel with Full HD resolution, wide viewing angles, up to 420 nits brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The source also notes typical OLED trade-offs: glossy reflections and low-frequency PWM behavior at low brightness levels. For media use, the Harman Kardon speaker system is described as loud and well-balanced. The 1 MP webcam with IR support is adequate for regular video calls.

Keyboard and Touchpad

The island-style keyboard offers a familiar layout, LED backlight, and comfortable feedback for typing. Key travel is shallow but practical for fast text work. The main compromise is the small arrow key cluster. The large touchpad supports NumberPad 2.0 and is described as responsive in everyday navigation.

Performance

With the Ryzen 5 5500U, integrated Radeon Vega 7 graphics, and 8 GB soldered LPDDR4X memory, this configuration is aimed at office tasks, web work, content consumption, and moderate heavier multitasking. The 512 GB SSD provides enough room for typical daily workloads.

Ports, Connectivity, and Battery

Physical connectivity includes HDMI, two USB Type-C ports, one USB 3.2 port, and a microSD reader. Wireless communication is handled by Wi-Fi 802.11ax and Bluetooth 5.0. There is no native 3.5 mm or RJ-45 port, but the package includes adapters (USB Type-C to 3.5 mm and USB Type-A to RJ-45). The 67 Wh battery is reported to reach around 15 hours of video playback and close to 14 hours of web browsing at 120 nits.

Verdict

The ZenBook 13 OLED UM325UA is a strong fit for users who want a compact and lightweight laptop with a high-quality OLED display and solid daily performance. Its main strengths are mobility, display quality, and battery life. The key compromises are reflective glossy screen behavior, PWM sensitivity at low brightness, and limited built-in port variety.
